Wow, a bright photo from you! Haven't seen one of those in a while. ^^ I love the sort of gradient in this picture, the bright that slowly become darker. In the ground, it has the sort of bleak colorfulness that I've seen you use alot. It makes those gorgeous shoes stand out.! Great shot, as always.

lol crowwie! yeah, i totally realized that i was going down a very dark and gritty hall for awhile. change is always good. i'm glad you're keepin me in check.

bleak colorfulness is such a great description- totally gave me a eureka moment. I love reading other perspectives-gives me so much insight! I think im gonna start having to request critiques on my work from now on. <3 <3 <3

Lol, I think "Bleak colorfulness" Is an oxymoron, though... Bleak things aren't usually colorful. Of course, it's the bleakness that makes it stand out, and you DO do that very well. Somehow even the somewhat subdued color of the tiles pops here because of it. ^^
